Elderberry Tincture

Elderberry tincture is one of our bases for my Elderberry syrup. If your not interested in the sweetness & desire something more shelf stable; tincture is for you! We adore tinctures because we can easily store them in our purse & take a dropperful when needed. This batch we made from organic dried berries & macerated for one month. The color & taste is delicious! Elderberry is great as an immune tonic or to support acute infections. She is antiviral, antibacterial, full of antioxidants, anticatarrhal, anti-inflammatory, a cardiovascular tonic & immune stimulant. She has an affinity for the respiratory system & gentle relaxing qualities. We like to take elderberry during cold & flu season or when we feel susceptible around others.

Ingredients: Organic vodka (40%) & Dried Elderberries (Sambucus nigra).
