Greetings & Welcome to Innertwine Herb's new & improved website! We are still in the process of setting up the site for sales but our goal is in the next few weeks! I wanted to share a little bit about the history of Innertwine Herbs for new customers & connections here; as well as our mission, our dreams & what we envision as a small business.
Innertwine Herbs started back in 2018 as a side project creating & crafting organic tea blends. Prior to that, I began my herbal exploration studying Botany throughout college & later working/volunteering on farms across the country. I helped on farms varying from organic coffee, apple orchards, farm raised meat, permaculture land to specialty greens & eventually my own herbal garden. My interest in home remedies grew as I became more connected with the land & I knew I wanted to pursue a career being a steward to others & the land.
I began herbal classes at Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine out in North Carolina. From then I continued my education within Plant Intuition, Phytochemistry, Human Physiology, Apothecarist Training & just finished a two year course at David Winston's Center for Herbal Studies. There is ever more to learn from our herbal community & from Mother Nature!
Innertwine Herbs is currently based out of Woodstock, IL where maybe one day a holistic shop could be in the works. Amber & I have dreams of a store front where we can offer herbal supplements, classes & workshops, bulk supplies for DIY projects, crystals & spirit medicine, books & resources, as well as goods from other talented local artisans! Continued support from our friends, family & customers could indeed make this vision a reality!
I always have continued support from my partner, Billie & our two wonderful Great Pyrenees; Kaleke & Little Bear. We also have a new little sprout joining our family this New Year! I must say I am excited to explore medicine for children & how to live a more holistic lifestyle with a growing family. I am hoping to put out some a little book or guide on Herbal Remedies for Pregnancy & Postpartum in the near future.
Amber has been a close friend for many years & we definitely share a sister bond! I couldn't think of a better partner to support me through this journey & get me motivated to bring this quest to fruition. She shares the same passion for helping others along with coexisting with the land. Amber is my new co-creator, specializing in amazing bath & beauty products! She is going to assist as our Director of Operations & head of Business Development...which is what you all know I need! I believe with our positive energies, thrill of the herbal world & natural urge to heal; we will make an excellent team, providing outstanding products, teaching, community & all the things!
We plan on revamping up Innertwine Herbs come 2023. We are updating our website, crafting new products, getting back into farmer's markets & community events as well as providing more personalized services. We will have this website up and running for the holiday season to gift your loved ones with amazing remedies made with Love & Intention.
